This week we have continued to learn all about the ‘Gingerbread Man’ story. We made boats and bridges for him and then tested them to see if they worked. They didn’t! So we carried out experiments to find out what floats and what sinks. We also tested different materials to see what would make a strong waterproof boat. We are going to make new and improved boats and bridges next week. We have been learning all about mass and weight. We weighed different objects and decided which was heaviest and lightest. We used our measuring skills to measure ingredients and baked some gingerbread men.
