This week we have been busy learning about different types of transport from the past, now and around the world. We have used lots of descriptive language to talk about what we can see comparing one thing to another. We enjoyed looking at transport from the past exploring how they worked. We were all glad that we no longer need to wind up our car to make them go. We loved hearing the story of Mrs Armitage and her bike. We made plans and instructions on how we could make her bike even better and then had a go at building our own bikes.
In PE we continued looking at different ways of travelling along the equipment. We are all getting very brave now and are building our strength when climbing.
We have been working lots with numbers working out what one more/less might be, ordering numerals and matching the numeral to quantify. We even taught Merlin about subtilising when playing dominoes.
